My wife and I are 83 years old. We are fortunate enough to have a Home and Cottage in Michigan. In 2013 we decided we wanted a warm winter place in Naples. We bought at Colonial Club through Judy Kemble, of John R Wood. She was invaluable in helping us find people to help us remodel. After over 10 years of enjoyment in Naples, my wife’s progressing Parkinson’s and my broken hip forced us to make the decision that we needed to simplify our lives. Especially not having Drs in Michigan and Florida. We wanted to simplify our lives in the simplest way possible. Judy Kemble recommended one of her partners at John R Wood to help us. Marc Galanto. He has been a Godsend. Very importantly he was a great communicator being quickly responsive and taking time to completely answer our questions. We explained our situation and that we wanted to sell furnished and just take our personal belongings home and not have to come to Naples to sort, pack, sign documents or anything. He got right on it. Researched market values, created beautiful sales marketing pictures, navigated the communications with a prospective buyer, and with the Condo President and Management Company. Also referred us to Naples Move Managers who helped us using FaceTime during an initial meeting to decide the scope of our needs. And later FaceTime as they finished packing to be sure all the correct things got packed. And to show us how each box was marked outside and with a list inside saying what was in each box and what room and what location in the room it came from. They arranged for it to be moved from Naples to Detroit area on a moving van dedicated to our load, and another in Minnesota. Our load was delivered on time and stacked neatly where we wanted when they delivered. Meanwhile Marc was showing our Condo and helping us in negotiations, and co-ordinating and guiding us in getting all the documents DocuSigned. All this was done while we were enjoying our cottage on a Lake in Northern Michigan. Marc made a bitter sweet process as simple and hassle and stress free as possible. I highly recommend Marc Galanto and the John R Wood organization for the excellent way they handled every step of our simplifying our lives. I would give him a 6 out of 5 rating!
